NBC 4 (WCMH-TV) continues its Football Friday Nite tradition by broadcasting its annual Football Friday Nite Kickoff Special on Thursday, August 21 from 7:30-8:00 p.m., just prior to NBC 4's prime time coverage of the Summer Olympic Games. This live program will be hosted by Sports Director Jerod Smalley with back up from Omar Ruiz and contributing reporters Mindy Drayer and Maurice Hall. It will be re-broadcast on Saturday, August 23 at 7 p.m., also just prior to network coverage of the Olympics.
