As a TV viewer for 57 years, Larry Reddig was looking forward to the change to digital television with enthusiasm.
Reddig, who lives about 10 miles north of Newark, bought a 40-inch HDTV and set up a 60-foot antenna so that he would have a clear shot at all of his favorite Columbus stations.
What he didn't realize was that his hope of clear, worry-free TV viewing had gone off the digital cliff.
