Journalism Prof. Gets Grant to Launch Online News Project

It's not local, but it's a great look as to where journalism and journalism schools are headed.

A Kennesaw State University journalism scholar’s community-funded online news media idea will soon take shape thanks to a grant from the Harnisch Family Foundation and a collaboration with a Minnesota-based online news community.The $51,000 grant will fund a trial run "representative journalism" which envisions communities funding journalists who deliver Web-based, local and topical news.

It is peculiar to ourself,and our studies mcse is so happily diffused as to give the grace of novelty to domestic scenes and daily occurrences. He never "o'ersteps the modesty of nature," nor raises merriment or wonder by the violation of truth........
