NBC affiliate WLEX-18 has named general assignment reporter Kristen Pflum as its new weekend anchor. Pflum, who has worked at the station for three years, replaces Heather Higdon, who took a job with Lexmark International this month to spend more time with her family. Pflum will continue to report three nights a week. The station plans to hire a replacement for the full-time general assignment reporting job.
