The Columbus Dispatch Cancels AP

The Dispatch today gave notice to the Associated Press that it is canceling its contract effective Jan. 17, 2011.

In a letter to Eva Parziale, AP's Ohio bureau chief, The Dispatch said:

"After decades of a strong relationship with the Associated Press, The Columbus Dispatch must serve notice of service cancellation effective Jan. 17, 2011.
