Are you kidding me?
The University of Kentucky has sent a statement to WHAS-TV in Louisville saying that the story of Billy Gillispie’s firing is NOT true.
Initially, the station stood by their report that the coach will not return next year.
But they’ve now pulled the story off their website (as of 11:35pm EDT).
The story originally said that sources had confirmed to two WHAS reporters that Gillispie was out.
We’ll have much, much more tomorrow morning.
