It might seem a long way from home shopping to ballet, but WDEM-TV (Channel 17) made the journey with the flick of a switch.
The little-known Grandview Heights station, a home-shopping outlet for more than a decade, changed its format a few weeks ago to a mix of TV classics and a fledgling arts-and-culture program called Lifeline Columbus.
