Lexington's ABC affiliate is cutting some staff members and also will not renew the contracts of three news reporters, part of a wave of changes around Lexington's media driven by the rough economy.
WTVQ (Channel 36) plans to eliminate two full-time news producers once the employees' contracts end and has eliminated two part-timers and reclassified three positions from full-time to part-time.
The part-timers were a production person and a receptionist.
