WOSU's "Open Line" Interim Host Known for TV Work

The latest voice of Open Line, the call-in show on WOSU (820 AM) radio, might ring familiar to central Ohio listeners.

Charlene Brown was an anchorwoman and a reporter for WSYX-TV (Channel 6) from 1990 to 2002.

For the past four years, she has hosted the monthly Artzine program on WOSU-TV (Channel 34).

Brown has filled in behind the Open Line microphone since Fred Andrle, longtime host and executive producer of the show, was heard May 29 during his last segment.
