The unexpected presidential race in the Indiana primary election has brought unexpected money to Indiana media.
Gary Belis, spokesman for the Television Bureau of Advertising, a trade group for broadcasters, said political campaigns have spent $9.1 million at television stations in Evansville and four other cities in Indiana since the beginning of the year. And about $2.3 million of that came in the past week, which is not surprising, he said.
