Louisville Family Focus of Vietnam War Documentary on KET
The debate about pulling out of Iraq has an eerie and haunting echo for Doan Hoang and her family in Louisville.
Thirty-three years ago last week, they were on the last American helicopter out of Vietnam on the final day of the war in that country. They eventually found their way to Louisville.
Tonight Hoang relives that nightmare, reflects on coming to America and takes her family back to Vietnam on a journey full of good and bad memories.
"Oh Saigon" is at 10 on KET2. It is a sensitive, engaging and at times painfully revealing story about what happens to people long after the guns of war go silent.

ThinkTV Airing Documentary on Local Frank Lloyd Wright Home
Dayton's PBS station - ThinkTV - just completed a marvelous documentary about the restoration of Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House in Springfield. It's the only Prairie-style structure by Wright in the state and was built in 1908 for auto magnate Burton J. Westcott. He owned the Westcott Motor Car Company, which produced hand-assembled cars. He died in 1923 a few years after his wife, Orpha, died after a routine operation.
