The FCC yesterday approved the sale of WSFJ Columbus, Ohio, from Guardian Enterprise Group to Trinity Broadcasting for $16 million.
Guardian owns no other TV stations, but it is the owner of the .2 Network, a broadcast network featuring movies intended for digital subchannels.
When the deal was first reported in June, Guardian CEO Richard Schilg said that proceeds from the sale of WSFJ would be used to finance the network.
