Standoff Between Time Warner and LIN Affects Stations in Dayton, Terre Haute

Officials on both sides of the dispute between Time Warner Cable and LIN TV Corp. believe negotiations could extend well past business hours Thursday.

LIN TV Corp. (NYSE: TVL), the parent of local NBC affiliate WDTN-TV Channel 2, is continuing negotiations with Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) to reach a long-term agreement that would allow the cable provider to broadcast WDTN past the midnight deadline Thursday, when the current cable carriage agreement expires between the two.
