WLKY News Anchor John Boel was arrested Sunday in Shelby County, Kentucky while driving on Interstate 64.
He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence first offense and with possession of an open alcohol container.
Boel was taken to the Shelby County Jail and later released on his own recognizance.
According to the arrest report, he refused to take a breath test. Boel has a court date scheduled for Nov. 25
