As June 12 — the date for TV stations to switch from analog to digital signals — nears and uncertainty looms about the process, the Federal Communications Commission continues to set regulations and guidelines for broadcasters.
The FCC notified television stations last week that, if they expect to lose 2 percent or more of the population in their analog viewing range after the switch, they must broadcast the news of the signal loss to their viewers before June 12.
