WLWT-TV Channel 5 News Director Brennan Donnellan has resigned after six years with the Hearst-Argyle Television station to focus on a blog devoted to news and events in Anderson Township.
“The news business is facing a whirlwind of change,” Donnellon wrote in July 7 blog entry at aroundanderson.com, in which he announced his departure from News 5. “I believe opportunities are being created right now for new channels of community information like Around Anderson. This seems like the best and most exciting way to build something positive for our hometown.”
