CBS Corp. has agreed to acquire CNet Networks Inc., it was announced today by Leslie Moonves, president-CEO of CBS Corp.
CBS says the purchase will make it a top 10 U.S. Internet firm with approximately 200 million monthly unique users. The CNet sites will be combined with CBS’s national and local interactive businesses.
