It's time for Brad James to let go of the forecast.
Where James is headed, there are no monster ice storms to warn about, no flash floods, no shadeless scorching days where the Bluegrass air hangs heavy with humidity.
After 35 years of being a broadcast fixture on Lexington television stations, James, 62, is retiring. He's going to spend more time with his wife, Pat, and adult son, Josh, dabble in amateur radio and work diligently on his napping technique.
